76ers Coach Brett Brown Inducted Into Maine Basketball Hall of Fame

This past Thursday, Philadelphia 76ers head coach Brett Brown was inducted into the Maine Basketball Hall of Fame. Brown was inducted with 20 other players and coaches with former ties to the state.

Brett Brown was a Maine All-State player for two years in high school, while also being a Vinal Trophy winner and a Converse All-American. The 76ers coach won two championships in high school, leading his South Portland squad. Brett’s father, Bob Brown, was also inducted with Brett.

The Maine Basketball Hall of Fame may not be a big deal, but it shows the pedigree that the 76ers lead man comes from.
