The Philadelphia 76ers trading for D-League standout Pierre Jackson in the 2014 NBA Draft was met with much excitement by the fans of the team. Jackson was a scoring machine in the NBADL and was originally a member of the 76ers, before being traded after Philadelphia drafted him in 2013.
With another tough season on the horizon in 2014, the 76ers had a player that could rile up some excitement in Jackson. Unfortunately, a torn achilles during his first Summer League game in Orlando ended those dreams, at least for this season.
