The NBA Draft Lottery is just two days away. Gulps. As the date approaches faster and faster, the anticipation of Sixers fans is rising. However, the ping pong balls on Tuesday night will have an affect on the Sixers future in one way or another.

By now, all of the lottery scenarios surrounding the Sixers have mostly been covered: should/will they take Karl-Anthony Towns if they land the first pick, does Jahlil Okafor fit in Philly, D’Angelo Russell versus Emanuel Mudiay, and who to take if the Lakers and/or Heat pick convey. More recently, Sixer fans have been all in on #OneSixEleven, meaning three lottery picks would convey.

But statistically, and cynically, speaking, the most likely way that the ping pong balls will bounce is having the Sixers land the No. 5 pick. While it is only a 26.5 percent chance, it is still the most likely spot for the Sixers pick to land in.

So from that pessimistic viewpoint, Karl-Anthony Towns, Jahlil Okafor, D’Angelo Russell, and Emanuel Mudiay would all likely be off of the board. This would leave a lot of fans in despair, as the Sixers would not have a good chance at landing one of the top four big names in this draft.

While the Sixers would miss out on a big name with the fifth pick, it does not mean that they will miss out on a top talent. Justise Winslow would definitely be an option, as a wing with elite “three-and-D” potential. In addition to Winslow, another prospect has been gaining a lot of traction as a potential top-five pick is Mario Hezonja.

Mario Hezonja is an International prospect from Croatia. Hezonja has played professionally in Spain for the past three seasons, two of them being on FC Barcelona’s main team. A lot of Sixer fans probably do not know a lot about Hezonja as a player, but by the end of this piece he will definitely have you intrigued. Let’s breakdown his strengths and weaknesses as a prospect.
