Here is a timeline of the Philadelphia 76ers‘ period during “The Process.” The long, yet somewhat successful, ambitious tanking job, led by Sam Hinkie.

“The Process” has been a very long-winded rebuild, but we’re finally seeing it pay off, at least a little bit. Many Philadelphia 76ers fans are excited at the prospect of getting young, high potential players. Other fans are fed up over how long it has taken.

Here’s a quick timeline of how “The Process” played out.

2013-14

July 12th — Jrue Holiday + Pierre Jackson (Pelicans) for 6th overall pick (Nerlens Noel) + 2014 1st round pick (Elfrid Payton (later traded for Dario Saric)).

August 14th — Brett Brown hired.

Overall, “The Process” has given Sixers fans something to look forward to. Teams could only wish to have generational talents like Embiid and Simmons. If we never decided to change things up, we may have been a team stuck in mediocrity; at least we did something about it.
