Philadelphia 76ers fans will, and should, probably boo all visiting teams but there are five games in which spectators will have extra incentive to boo.

Fans almost always boo opponents when they come to their home arena. That is part of the fun of being a fan, and Philadelphia sports fans have reputation of being really good at it.

We are not talking about those instances when the home team gets the raspberry’s for playing poorly. This is booing the opposition because ‘it is our house and you will not beat our team here’.

In other words, this is about the fans in the stands at the Center trying to make themselves a ‘Sixth man’ and help the Philadelphia 76ers win.

The fans did an excellent job of giving the team a real home court advantage last season. The 76ers were 30-11 during the regular season at home and 4-1 in the playoffs (and were a Marco Belinelli shot being six inches further out from being undefeated at home in the postseason).

There is no reason to think Sixers fans won’t be just as passionate this season. However, there are certain games where fans will, let us just say, have more reason to boo even than usual.

So for a primer on teams and players who fans should really let have it (vocally only), here are the five most boo-able games of the regular season.
