For better or worse, I've hitched my wagon to the Philadelphia 76ers. I've been a diehard fan since the finals run in 2000-2001. I originally started blogging and recording NBA Podcasts for the guys over at uponofficialreview.com. Now, I've got the bug.
It's an interesting thing to follow a middling team, but what I appreciate the most is the lack of expectations. For example, take the 2011-2012 playoff run. There is no way the Sixers win the Bulls series unless Derrick Rose AND Joakim Noah get injured. We all went along for the ride as we took the Celtics to 7 games, and that's all I can ask for as a writer. Join me as I follow the ups and (mostly) downs of this thing we call a basketball team.
