Dorell Wright has been given yet another chance to start over after being traded to the Sixers for rights to a European player. Wright is 6’9″, and averaged just over 10 pts per game last year. He has the ability to shoot the long ball, and I think he will do fine coming of the bench. I am a fan of what the Sixers are doing right now. Besides the fact that we re-signed Spencer Hawes, the Sixers organization is slowly pushing torwards “that special move,” that us Sixers fans have desperately been waiting for. Although we haven’t really done any special moves that will change our starting line-up, we have improved our already great bench tremendously, with the additions of Young and Wright.

Wright was in the final year of his 3 year deal with Warriors, and the Sixers will have to pay him $4 million this year. I don’t really believe that what the Sixers are doing will make them anything close to true contenders, but it does open up tremendous trade opportunities for next year. More on the Sixers, Lou Wililiams has agreed to a multi-year deal with the Atlanta Hawks, which doesn’t suprise me at all since that’s his home town. The Sixers are slowly improving their team, and are opening up huge opportunities for our future. So, what do you think about our newest addition?
