6. Boston Celtics
Noah Vonleh, Forward/Center/Indiana University
This might seem weird to some. I think Vonleh will end up playing center for most of his career. He has the size and (potential) talent to do so. Currently, the Celtics front-court depth looks like this: Jared Sullinger, Kelly Olynyk, Vitor Faverani, Kris Humphries and Joel Anthony. I shouldn’t have to say anything more.
7. Los Angeles Lakers
Dante Exum, Guard/International
This would be the best case scenario for the Lakers. There have been reports saying that Exum will try to force his way onto the Lakers, but in this case, he might not have to. Exum would be an exciting addition to the Los Angeles Kobes
8. Sacramento Kings
Julius Randle, Power Forward/ University of Kentucky
Randle at 8 might seem like a “drop” in some cases but I think this is the lowest he can possibly go. The foot issues don’t necessarily bother me but it could be a long-term concern seeing as he missed time in high school due to it. Pairing Boogie and Randle together would add some real nastiness to the Kings.
9. Charlotte Hornets
Doug McDermott, Forward/Creighton University
Multiple reports have been saying that the Hornets have McDermott somewhere near the top of their draft board. Who knows if that’s true but McDermott would add some nice scoring off the bench right away from the Hornets.
10. Philadelphia 76ers
Dario Saric, Point Forward/International
Dario is one of the top talents in the draft. The fact that he might not come over right away scares teams. The Sixers are in perfect position to take that gamble of him not coming over right away. Adding Saric to the MCW-Wiggins-Noel trio would be beneficial to all three of those players. His passing, ball-handling and scoring would compliment each one of them.
