NBA Draft 2014: ESPN’s Fake NBA Draft Results For 76ers
BREAKING TRADE NEWS:
Chad Ford offers up Thad Young for the Rockets 25th pick and Omer Asik. In a sense, this is a decent pick. Not sure how Omer would act with most likely playing behind Nerlens Noel, but his defense is valuable. He’s a little overrated and overpaid in my eyes but like I said, his defense is valuable.
Number 25:
Chad Ford takes Damien Inglis here. Inglis isn’t a popular name to many but what you need to know is that he’s 6’8.5” with a 7’3” wingspan, 240 pounds and projects as a small forward. DraftExpress says he mainly played point-forward and has high basketball IQ, court vision and playing in the open floor. He could be another draft n stash player, or he could be a guy they stick in the D-League or he could be a guy who starts. No one is really sure of what his plans are and what teams plan to do with him. I might have went with Clint Capela here to bolster your front court a little bit more, but the appeal here is pretty high.
This pick gets a C+. I’m not really sure why it does, but it just does. Click to the next page for my recap of the fake draft and a final grade..
