3) After seeing Embiid and Saric selected, explain your feelings?

Dante Nelson: As the draft progressed, I decided that getting these guys was ok for me.

Spencer Layman: Denial and isolation, anger, bargaining, depression and then acceptance. 

Curt Jenkins: After seeing the Sixers top two selections I was like, “Hinkie is really taking the Slow and steady pace with those picks.” I hope Embiid does play at some point and it’s not another Nerlens Noel situation where we are just watching youtube highlights to cure our curiosity

Ryan Calpin: After I realized that the Sixers two lottery picks were set in stone, and it was Joel Embiid, and Dario Saric, AND TWO FUTURE PICKS (one 1st round, and one second round), I was satisfied. Like I’ve said, I realized after some time, that this draft was not for the upcoming season, and Hinkie is trying to construct a team that can compete for a championship in a couple years, not a team that will stumble into the playoffs and lose in the first round.
