Every NBA team has a sixth man and the Sixers are no exception. They have a good young, up- and-coming player with the name of Tony Wroten. He’s pure energy and brings immediate scoring and hustle to the squad. Wroten got some attention this summer when he was playing in the Seattle Pro-Am and dropped 53 points, including a nasty crossover that broke his defenders ankles. If he is not starting, he will be a huge contribution off the bench, and will be a bright spot for the upcoming season.
The Sixers have many other young guys on the bench that will also be a contribution to the team. Drafted this year: K.J. McDaniels, and Jerami Grant. If the Sixers are in any type of contention, and Joel Embiid, the No. 3 of this year’s draft, is feeling confident enough to play, he could contribute in a positive way.
Overall, the Sixers will have to play around with who plays well with others, and see where the best chemistry lies. It will again be a bumpy season, but they will just have to manage with the pieces they have, and they are confident in their coach Brett Brown to be able to do that.
