Minutes Will Be Plentiful

In Philadelphia, there is no competition for Nerlens Noel at the center position. Players like Henry Sims and Jarvis Varnado certainly aren’t taking minutes away from Noel. The only thing they will be doing is giving him rest when needed. Other rookies might have to deal with coming off the bench or playing less than 30 minutes per game, but Noel shouldn’t have this problem. As long as he remains healthy, there will be no reason that the kid doesn’t play 30-plus minutes per game. The more he’s on the court, the more he’s going to prove himself and show his raw talent. It doesn’t matter if the 76ers will be a train wreck, MCW proved that the Rookie of the Year voting has little to do with victories.
