Othyus Jeffers

Reason: He Deserves a Real Chance

Seeing Othyus Jeffers hop back and forth between the D-League and NBA during his career has been depressing. The 29-year-old has only played in 37 games in three NBA season, after not being in the NBA in 2012-13. Jeffers has been consistently tearing up the D-League, playing over 180 games, averaging 19.0 points per game and 8.3 rebounds per game. He stands at 6’5″, so he’s tall enough to fit the 76ers height requirements. Jeffers deservers a legitimate shot in the D-League without worrying about getting called back down to the D-League and the 76ers can provide him with that.
