5. Cedi Osman, G, Macedonia (Efes)

Osman is a wing originally from Macedonia, but he played for Turkey in the FIBA World Cup. He was a bench player for the squad, but played well in limited minutes, getting 16 points throughout the tournament. Osman can play any perimeter position, with excellent passing and ball-handling skills and great hands on defense.

He’s definitely not a good shooter, but he can facilitate and play defense, making him a solid potential role player. Osman has expressed interest in coming over to the NBA, but he’s a likely second-round pick right now.

If he did enter the draft, and the Sixers did grab him, he’d likely go back to Turkey for at least a season to attempt to fix his shot mechanics. Still, his playmaking ability would make him an interesting player to pair with Saric on the wing, and if the Sixers can add some shooting opposite him, Osman could have a role in Philadelphia.
