In case you hadn’t heard, the Philadelphia 76ers are not going to be good at basketball this year! In fact, they might be really, really bad!

Part of the issue with covering a team that doesn’t have a great chance of winning is that the story lines that can be reported thin out quickly. There’s only so much you can talk about how young players are developing, Joel Embiid’s injury recovery, or the problems with the team’s play. Things just start to repeat and get boring. That’s likely going to happen to the 76ers this year, and there’s several stories that we will get pounded over the head with.
