76ers Face Grizzlies in Battle of SEGABABA’s
In tonight’s match-up, the 76ers take on the Memphis Grizzlies at 7:30 in Philadelphia.
The Grizzlies and 76ers will feature two teams battling for the win of the SEGABABA’s. For those confused of what SEGABABA is, it means second game of a back-to-back. The Grizzlies played the Charlotte Hornets last night and won in double over-time, while Philadelphia lost against Brooklyn last night, but that’s not much of a road trip for them. The 76ers might actually be able to steal a win away tonight from the second best team in the West.

The 76ers will need to key in on their interior defense tonight as they take on the formidable duo of Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph. Nerlens Noel and Henry Sims are going to have their hands full all night. My guess is that Sims matches up with Gasol and Nerlens will start off guarding ZBo. The guards for the Sixers are going to have to be quick on their double team rotations tonight. Fortunately, the Grizzlies are among the bottom teams in three-point field goal attempts per game, however they shoot them at a high field goal percentage clip.
The Sixers are going to need to step up their offensive game if they want to have a shot at winning tonight’s game. Philly tied their season low in scoring against Brooklyn last night with 70 points and will need a much better effort tonight. Nerlens Noel, Alexey Shved, Hollis Thompson and K.J. McDaniels scored a total of two points for the Sixers last night. If that happens again tonight, the 76ers may lose by 40, or 50, or more points than I can imagine.
K.J. McDaniels is out tonight after rolling his ankle last night against Brooklyn.
Probable Starters:
Michael Carter-Williams
Hollis Thompson
Robert Covington
Nerlens Noel
Henry Sims
