Stanley Johnson

The standout defensive player with a football frame appears to be ready to explode upon the NBA. Able to handle the ball, especially in traffic, the open court Johnson can also create his own opportunity; and delivers. Tough inside on both sides of the ball, he is able to block, rebound, and start the fast-break. The one season of PAC-12 ball has helped him mature. He enters the draft as maybe the top-ranked power forward available this year. Okay, he had a bad tourney, but most scouts are in agreement that he is a superior talent capable of making the jump to the NBA ala Ron Artest. Expect him to become a lottery winner.

Stanley Johnson’s stat line for 2014-2015:

PPG: 13.8     RPG: 6.5     APG: 1.7
