Myles Turner

Maybe not a household name power forward but he may be soon. Turner is a very strong player with an NBA frame and face-up ability for the pro-level. The Texas star headed for the NBA appears to be one of those draft picks to pay attention to; he has intangibles and great timing. Turner also has great creativity in the paint as well as great hands. Defensively he is no slouch; comfortable and improving. Offensively he needs to play with a bit more fluidity. The scouting report indicates that he is NBA ready but perhaps not in a starring role. One final note: he is an above 85 percent free-throw shooter and he nearly blocked three shots per game; he’s a stud.

Myles Turner’s stat line for 2014-2015:

PPG: 10.1     RPG: 6.5     APG: 0.6
