Montrezl Harrell

His coach may have pushed him out to free up the scholarship for Louisville’s next star. Sounds like Antione Walker situation from back in the day. Harrell however is an okay, grounded talent. He is active, big and strong and has the energy and toughness to compete. He is a learner, that can rebound, block shots, and most of all run the open floor and finish off the brake with panache. The question remains: Can one make it in the NBA with no post game whatsoever? Is he worth the pick? Which team is willing to take a chance and how high in the draft do they need spend the pick? In any event, he seems like a good kid, time will tell. He needs to work on his free throw shooting which hovers around 50 percent.

Montrezl Harrell’s line for 2014-2015:

PPG: 15.7     RPG: 9.2     APG: 1.4
