With the 2015 NBA Draft upon us, let Dan Falcone take you through some of the small forward prospects in the draft.
In certain draft seasons the small forward position is considered soft. In years past, some of these players are at times too small for NBA forward, and not good enough to play the guard spot. If you have size in the league, you are needed to be a front line starter. If you are not a post player, you better be able to shoot really well. This year however has some “outliers” at the position, as each passing year, it seems athleticism and talent supersede the label set forth by position. Small forwards are not born, perhaps they are made. Some of these players listed below may be a roll of the dice, we will have to see.
