Cameron Payne
The Murray State Racer is a smart player with good size for his position. The southpaw is the premier outside shooting point guard in the draft. He reminds me of Steve Nash coming out in the historic 1996 draft. He has the roughly the same height, same relatively obscure school, a high basketball IQ, great vision, ability to use screen and roll options, and the confidence to pull up from anywhere. The same question marks are/were similar; can he play the NBA physical game and defend? Nash answered that bell in historic and prolific fashion. Payne will try to do the same.
