4. PG Emmanuel Mudiay, Guangdong (6-foot-5, 200 pounds)

Mudiay is still a bit of a mystery for a small-time blogger like myself. He didn’t play in a ton of games in China, and there isn’t a ton of game tape available. But from what I’ve seen, and what I’ve stated before when talking with Trevor Magnotti, I have questions his “elite” athleticism. He’s a good athlete, and a terror in the open court, but he wasn’t as explosive as I expected. That being said, he’s a massive guard that can get to the rim with ease, and is really at his best on the pick-and-roll. He’s very clearly a true point guard, always wanting to get his teammates involved. He has the tools to be a terror defensively thanks to his strength and athletic ability. His shooting is a work in progress (like this), but the potential is there for Mudiay to be a special player.
