The Philadelphia 76ers are one of the longest running teams in the NBA’s history. From way back in the day, they were the Syracuse Nationals, and then moved in 1963 to Philadelphia where we know them today. Throughout their years, plenty of players have stepped through and impacted the franchise.

Moses Malone, Wilt Chamberlin and Julius Erving are just a few of the names of classic 76ers players. None of these players were actually drafted by the Sixers, though. They were brought in via trades or free agency along the way. None of the mentioned players started their careers on draft night in Philly.
Despite the fact that those classic names weren’t drafted into Philadelphia, there were plenty of players brought in that will have an impact on the team, or have already had a tremendous impact on the team. They’ve had successes in the draft as well as failures, but let’s go ahead and look at some of the successes, and acknowledge the top ten Sixers draft picks of all time.
