13. Dikembe Mutombo Leads The Sixers With Big Game Over Cavs
Dikembe Mutombo was a great pickup for the Philadelphia 76ers in 2001. Trying to counteract the abilities of Shaquille O’Neal was nearly impossible back then, but if anyone was going to do it, it was going to be Dikembe.
Mutombo had a big regular season game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, leading the Sixers in points, blocks, and rebounds. By the end of the game he had scored 27 points, grabbed 13 rebounds, and blocked five shots, leading the Sixers to a 96-88 win over the Cavs.
Mutombo’s dominance was not rare, and games like this weren’t uncommon, but it’s hard to top 13 rebounds and five blocked shots on top of that.
