12. Charles Barkley Triple Double Against Pacers

Charles Barkley shows up a lot in the top 20 performances for the Philadelphia 76ers. As a Sixer, he was a great performer, and was quite charismatic on the court. He made fans want to watch.

This particular performance came in Barkley’s second year in the league, which he finished averaging 20.0 points and 12.8 rebounds per game. He was proving his dominance early on in his career, and was showing that he was going to be a great player for years to come. This game was early in the season, too, the Sixers third game which came against the Indiana Pacers. Starting the year 1-1, the Sixers were looking for someone to push them towards a win to break .500, and Barkley was determined.

Unfortunately despite a big performance, Barkley’s showing would not be enough to create a win, as the team lost by four points, but his showing was still huge, as Barkley put up a triple double that night.

Barkley scored 34 points, had 10 rebounds, and dished out 14 assists. Barkley shot 75% from the field that night, and was very impressive. This was a game that would go to overtime, as Barkley played 53 minutes that game.
