19. Andre Turner Has 13 Assists (Off The Bench)
Assists have been important for all Philadelphia 76ers fans this year. With injuries relevant, their master passers were gone at the beginning of the year, but T.J. McConnell popped in and moved the ball well, which surprised many. In his first big game, and his first start, he had 12 assists a piece.

Andre Turner had a great off-the-bench asisst game in 1991, just like McConnell did this season. Turner and the Sixers lost that day to the Utah Jazz, but he still came off the bench, played 28 minutes, and dished out 13 assists. He also had six points throughout the night.
What’s impressive about this is Turner put his name up there with guys like Allen Iverson. The only player to ever come off the bench and have more than Turner’s 13 assists was Iverson himself, who had 14 on one occasion.
Turner played just a single season as a Sixer, averaging 5.9 points and 4.4 assists per game in that season. He started just one game that year, so it’s clear he was an impact off-the-bench only.
