Erving’s flashy style of play made him a fan favorite across the country. He was elected an all-star 11 years in the NBA, and was a driving force behind the merging of the ABA, and NBA.

Some of his most impressive accolades include 5x NBA first all-team, NBA MVP in ‘81, ABA, All-time team, and An induction to the Hall of Fame in ‘93

Erving did it all on the court, and was as versatile as they come. He could score, he could rebound, he could pass, and was a shutdown defender. Undoubtedly the most well rounded player of his time, Erving captivated fans on a nightly basis with every opportunity he got.
