Willie Green -27

Willie Green is a twelve year veteran player of the NBA, who played seven years for the Philadelphia 76ers. Drafted at the twelfth pick of the second round in the 2003 NBA draft by the Seattle Supersonics, A draft night trade sent Willie to the Philadelphia 76ers . As a rookie, Willie averaged 6.9 points and 1.2 rebounds per game in 53 games in a reserve role, which he would fill his first three seasons with the Sixers.. He posted three 20-point games including 26 points at Atlanta on March 6, 2004.

Green currently sits at ninth on the Philadelphia 76ers all time list for shooting treys, with 259 made. He finally broke into the starting role in the 2005-2006 season, after the Sixers traded Eric Snow. That dealt allowed Allen Iverson to resume playing at point guard and promoted Green to join Iverson in the backcourt. But on the day he was to resign, Green was injured and did not return to the team until March 2006. He returned the following year, where he scored 839 points for the Sixers. He averaged 15.5 points per 36 minutes for the Sixers throughout his career with the team.

After playing seven seasons with the Sixers, Philly packaged Green and Jason Smith to obtain Craig Brackens and Darious Songaila from the then New Orleans Hornets.

Green is not the all time scorer for the team, but his three point shooting has earned him a place in this countdown.
