The Future Is Brighter For The Philadelphia 76ers Than The Eagles

OWNERSHIP
Eagles:
What happened to the Philadelphia Eagles? They have always been steady, with not a lot of changing parts in the upper management of the team. I have always been fond of Jeffrey Lurie’s ability to stand by his coach (i.e. Andy Reid), when many questioned the direction the team was going. Unfortunately that attribute of Lurie seems to have dissipated with what I feel was a premature firing of Chip Kelly. Couple that with the extremely curious case of Howie Roseman, lack of a general manager/coach, and you have a nightmare at the top of your organization. Lurie must keep in mind that repetitively making moves that he has been making is how you become just like the Cleveland Browns.
Sixers:
Joshua Harris and Company have only owned the Sixers since July of 2011, not giving me a large sample size on which to judge the Sixers vs. Eagles on ownership. What I will say is that Joshua Harris and Company have been dedicated to “The Process,” and showed their loyalty to Brett Brown by giving him a contract extension recently.
Conclusion:
Eagles historically since Lurie’s ownership have been steady, which is something we cannot say about the Sixers. I will give the slight edge to the Eagles.
