Sixer Sense PreLottery 2016 NBA Mock Draft
By Bret Stuter
The Results Second Pick – Number Four
However, with the fourth pick of the 2016 NBA draft, the Philadelphia 76ers will fill the second back court position by selecting Providence point guard Kris Dunn. Dunn completes the Philadelphia 76ers back court, where the team has taken the top point guard and shooting guard of the 2016 NBA draft, and they are only 50% complete.
Dunn’s combination of incredible size and athleticism, along with the relative dearth of point guard prospects in this draft, make him a pretty safe bet to be taken high in the draft. At 6’4″ and 205 pounds, Dunn brings some size to the back court. But not just dimensions, Dunn has an uncanny radar of knowing where each of his teammates are at all times, and can get them the ball in a flash.
Dunn is a catalyst for transition, able to grab a defensive rebound and immediately push the ball down court. If he does not have an open man, he can take the ball coast to coast to the basket. Some believe this NCAA draft ends at the third pick. Kris Dunn will prove it lasts until at least the fourth pick.

With the team addressing the back court with the first selection of the draft, some will feel huge disappointment in the missed opportunity to grab Ben Simmons at that spot.
