The NBA Lottery Shall Set You Free
The ALPHA to this wave of optimism and prosperity is, of course, the NBA Lottery. If the Philadelphia 76ers land a top two pick and the Lakers pick at four or five, the wave of optimism will surge in Philadelphia over her basketball team.
Some of you stop there in optimism. But others may join me even if this team falls to the worst case scenario. You know, odds are a gamble, and to have a chance of success in this NBA, you must be willing to take that gamble.
But the team is on the rise. The team is planning an excursion to Istanbul, Turkey to sign and retrieve Dario Saric from the Turkish basketball league.

And the return to health of Joel Embiid is on track and encouraging.

But in the end, it comes down to when and how often the Sixers pick. From the moment the team learns that, they begin to evaluate the optimal path of each pick. Trade it, use it, or defer it by trading back? In the past, the Sixers would draft a player who they would immediately flip for another player and an additional draft pick(s). Don’t expect those complications this season.
