2019 NBA Draft

By 2019, the Philadelphia 76ers should be well on their way to making significant noise in the NBA playoffs, and that is usually the signal for the end of future starting talent from the NBA draft.   But while that may be the case for the first round pick Philadelphia owns naturally, there are many reasons to believe the first round pick due to the Sixers from the Sacramento Kings in 2019 will be a lottery pick.

Once more the fun continues into the second round of the NBA draft.  In 2019, the Philadelphia 76ers will possess their own second round pick.  The team also owns the rights to the second round pick of the New York Knicks.  Finally, the team will have the more favorable pick of either that of the Milwaukee Bucks or the Sacramento Kings.

Despite the projection of a playoff team, a wise general manager should find more than enough talent in the four picks available to the team in 2019.

NBA Draft Summary:

Philadelphia 76ers first round pick.
(Corrected to reflect narrative above) Sacramento King first round draft pick

Philadelphia 76ers second round pick
More favorable second round pick of either the Milwaukee Bucks or the Sacramento Kings
New York Knicks second round pick
