2020 NBA Draft

We are entering the long distant future, and yet the long arm of Sam Hinkie continues to reach this far.   NBA stars are grown, and even the best and brightest stars are not guaranteed compatibility even when they develop on the same team.  Eventually the team needs to refocus their core to the optimal combination of talented players who optimally compliment one another.

And are affordable under the salary cap.

That is why the NBA draft remains so very important to every organization.   By this time, the Philadelphia 76ers will be experiencing those painful debates, but they can continue to look to the NBA draft to restore talent to the roster.  In 2020, the Philadelphia 76ers will hold their own first round draft pick.

In the second round of the draft, the Sixers own their own pick once more.  They also own the rights to the second round pick of the Brooklyn Nets.   And finally, the Sixers own the rights to the second round pick of the New York Knicks.

NBA Draft Summary:

Philadelphia 76ers first round pick.

Philadelphia second round pick
Brooklyn Nets second round pick
New York Knicks second round pick
