Kris Dunn. 6. player. 69. . Guard. Providence

Anthony Davis has played four seasons for the New Orleans Pelicans. He’s missed the playoffs three times in those four seasons, and still has never won a postseason game. Its obvious the Pelicans need to use this pick to get him somebody who can contribute right away, and Kris Dunn is that player.

Dunn could be potentially drop because of Boston, Phoenix, and Minnesota having depth at point guard.

He could start on opening night if the Pelicans need him to start on opening night, but there have been reports that Dunn’s camp is trying to steer him away from teams with young, long-term options at the point. Dunn and Holiday could be a nice duo if Holiday can stay healthy.

Dunn might be the best option in this draft for a team looking fora  plug-and-play prospect. The Pelicans need to bet big to get Davis some talent around him. He can’t be worse than Austin Rivers. Dunn might be too talented to pass up here. The bet is Dunn.
