Rapper Lil’ Dicky was seen court-side at game 7 of the NBA Finals in Oakland rocking a Philadelphia 76ers coat.
If you were watching the NBA Finals on Sunday night, and were wondering who the heck the idiot was with court-side seats wearing a Sixers jacket, that would be rapper (and actor/comedian) Lil’ Dicky.
Lil’ Dicky tweeted out from his seats, asking if people saw him on TV. Many responded, asking if he was the one wearing the Sixers jacket, which he later confirmed, and also later said that the tickets were free for him.
The Sixers got in on the action as well, pointing out with a perfectly zoomed gif who Lil’ Dicky was, for anyone who was unaware.

The Kings tried to get in on the action, as almost usual with anything the Sixers do, and didn’t do a very good job of it.
The Sixers responded again.
Lil’ Dicky was born and raised in a township just north of Philadelphia, and held his first ever rap concert in the City of Brotherly Love. He has really blown up as an artist over the past year, but has clearly not strayed too far from his roots. It would take some serious guts to stroll into Oracle arena for game 7 wearing some team merchandise of the unit that won just 10 games this entire season.

Either way, it was very cool to see the Sixers represented on national television during the Finals. Hopefully in a few years the team will be playing in it themselves.
