My Prediction: Ben Simmons Actual 2016 NBA Draft: Ben Simmons

While many see this as a gimme, at the time of my mock, this was just a little better than 60 percent in the camp of Ben Simmons. The fanbase was perched on the fence between Ben Simmons and Brandon Ingram, with many leaning towards the more obvious fit of Ingram on a team that truly needed back court help.

But the potential of Ben Simmons was undeniable, and it is that potential to become an elite player in the NBA which attracted the Philadelphia 76ers to this young man. And so, I placed him atop my Mock Draft board, and that began my mock perfectly.
