My Prediction: Wade Baldwin IV Actual 2016 NBA Draft: Buddy Hield

This was my first true miss, to an extent. Since my mock was done so early, I missed the late rise of Oklahoma’s Buddy Hield as the draft approached. Hield benefited from playing four years of college ball, and translating that maturity onto the basketball court.

I expected Baldwin’s performance in the NCAA tournament to carry more weight into the NBA draft. While he did go in the first round, he fell to 17. Still, that qualifies for one point. I’m up to 22.
