Eric Gordon

 Position: SG

Height: 6-4

Age: 27

Out of all of the free agents in these slides, Gordon will most likely be the most expensive one for the Sixers to acquire.

He’s coming off a four-year $58 million deal with the New Orleans Pelicans.

While Gordon may command big money, a contract with the Sixers could serve as maybe a one or two-year prove it deal.

Although Gordon has not been able to stay healthy throughout the course of his career, he would be a reliable scoring option for the Sixers. He’s also a veteran who could take some of the weight off of Simmons’ shoulders as a rookie.

In 45 games last season, Gordon averaged 15.2 points, 2.2 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game. He also shot 38 percent from three-point range, while 85 percent of those were assisted, according Basketball-reference.com.

Despite missing a combined 116 games in the past four years due to injuries, the Sixers are desperate for a serviceable backcourt, and Gordon could be that guy.
