San Antonio Spurs. 1. team. 29. <p>In the face of uncertainty, go with the certainty.  That is the rule for economic uncertainty, which usually prepares an audience to learn of the reason why “smart” money is going to gold or land.</p> <p>In the NBA, the secret is to run towards the coach who knows how to amplify the skills of his roster into a championship team.  That coach is Gregg Popovich.</p> <p>It is the retirement of venerable Tim Duncan which has filled the news about the Spurs, but it should be the fact that the Spurs have an incredible NBA defense.  Their defense was so good, at 92.9 points per game, that it was three points better than the second place team Utah Jazz.</p> <p>Their 67 win season was a tremendous run, but unfortunately happened the same season as the Warrior’s 73 win run.  This team was excellent and with Gasol stepping in, will play nearly as well this season.</p> <p class=.
