28. team. 147. <p>The Brooklyn Nets had to manufacture draft picks, and did so by cashing in the venerable power forward of the team, Thaddeus Young.  They will likely play free agent Trevor Booker in the vacant position, which will be a noticeable downgrade.</p> <p>But the Nets did work to bolster their backcourt, signing point guard Jeremy Lin, and drafting both shooting guards Caris LeVert and Isaiah Whitehead.  With their 20 player limit, the team has 11 players for the back court to take a look at.</p> <p>With Sean Kilpatrick, the Nets will likely be leaning towards a small ball lineup with Lin, Kilpatrick, and another guard to pair with center extraordinaire Brook Lopez.  The Nets also have given another opportunity to former top draft pick Anthony Bennett.</p> <p>This will be a fun team to watch this season, but they simply haven’t enough going for them yet to do much better in the standings.<br /> <strong>Key Losses:</strong> Thaddeus Young<br /> <strong>Key Gains:</strong>   Jeremy Lin<br /> <strong>Key Statistic</strong>: Team Defense<br /> <strong>NBA Power Rankings:</strong> 28th</p>.
