4 – Can the Sixers Win?

Seeing as the Wizards are just 2-7 on the year, the Sixers should actually have a decent chance to pick up their second win of the season.

More from The Sixer Sense

It won’t be easy, though, and the Wizards are a bit better than their record implies.

In order to win, the Sixers will have to contain John Wall, limit their turnovers and make open their open shots. Both Jahlil Okafor and Robert Covington will be key in the outcome, while role-players like Sergio Rodriguez, Gerald Henderson, Hollis Thompson and Dario Saric will also have to play well in order for the Sixers to have a chance.

The Sixers have the tools to win, and with a not-so-difficult schedule ahead of them over the next few games (Wizards, Minnesota Timberwolves, Phoenix Suns), it’s possible they could start their first winning streak of the season on Wednesday.
