Now For Phase III

Phase I was looking for elite NBA Talent.  Phase II has been developing Joel Embiid as a marquis NBA Rookie. Phase III will soon begin. That means it is Ben Simmons turn to get ready. Until now, Simmons has been on the bench. Soon that will change.

What will Simmons bring to the team?

  • Versatility for one thing. Scoring and rebounding too. But perhaps the biggest value of Ben Simmons on the Philadelphia 76ers will be to improve the performance of big man Joel Embiid.

    Make Things Happen

As of 10 January 2017, Joel Embiid is manufacturing over half of his shots.  Compare that to Hakeem Olajuwon, who was forced to manufacture just a third or less of his shots. That is huge. Similarly, Karl Anthony Towns must manufacture just 37 percent of his shots.

Teams do not succeed if too much is asked of that marquis player. The Sacramento Kings have such a player in DeMarcus Cousins. But he is in a similar situation this year as Joel Embiid. He must make his own shots happen.
