NBA All-Star weekend is here, and the BBVA Compass Rising Stars Challenge is on Friday. Here’s how to watch on a computer.
The break is here for the NBA players, as the All-Star weekend officially commences on Friday night. One of the very first events does a great job of showcasing the young talent in the NBA, and that is the Rising Stars Challenge.
In previous years, the Rising Stars Challenge has taken on a number of different formats. One of the most popular formats to fans was the classic rookies vs sophomores, but it’s been quite some time since the game was laid out like that. This year, for the third consecutive season, the game is being laid out and played by rookies and sophomores, but divvied up by domestic players vs international players, giving us a Team USA and Team World.
The Philadelphia 76ers have two players in the game, one on Team USA and one on Team World. Jahlil Okafor will represent Team USA, and Dario Saric will represent Team World.
You may need to download a newer version of flash and some plugins with some of these methods, so getting that done ahead of time would be smart. The game is slated to tip off at 9 pm.
