Philadelphia 76ers rookie center Joel Embiid is following the pattern of Jahlil Okafor. No he is still defensively quite adept. No, he is not a sudden name being tossed around in 29 various trade rumors.
Joel Embiid had a bruised knee later diagnosed as a meniscus tear later declared to be more serious and will end his season prematurely.
The news is sobering to a team, and city, that waited nearly three years to set his health on track. It’s disheartening to a fanbase who had to cherish each meted out “minutes restriction load restriction” appearance of Joel Embiid’s rookie season.
