Reason I:  Lorenzo Romar Knows the Pacific Northwest

Lorenzo Romar succeeded at recruiting top candidates to his team because he made it a point to learn about them, know them and their families.  His relationship with Michael Porter Sr. landed the top recruit of the nation, Michael Porter Jr., to commit to the Washington Huskies.

But that relationship was not fostered when news broke of Michael Porter Jr.’s forte at the sport. No. Much like the relationship of head coach Brett Brown to Ben Simmons‘ family, Romar has been a friend of the family for years.

But more importantly, he knows the players in the 2017 NBA Draft from the PAC-12. Two such players, Lonzo Ball and Markelle Fultz, will likely land as the top NBA Draft pick in that 2017 draft. Wouldn’t it be wise to have a coach on the staff who knows more than the file does?

In the call of who do you select, more information is always better. Lorenzo Romar brings more information.
