With Duke and Florida State’s exiting early, a few potential first round NBA draft picks for the Philadelphia 76ers witnessed an end to their college careers, but there are many 2nd round prospects left worth watching.

The 2017 NBA Draft hangs on the horizon.  The Philadelphia 76ers hold five up to six picks in that draft.  So when third-seeded Oregon Ducks and seventh-seeded Michigan Wolverines meet up on Thursday night, 76ers fans should take notice.  College basketball fans will be treated to a matchup between two of the hottest teams in the country right now.

Other than appreciating good basketball, Sixers fans have another reason to tune in for this Sweet 16 matchup as there are several potential second round draft targets will showcase their talents in this game.

From the vantage point of the Philadelphia 76ers, all college prospects who will likely enter the NBA draft are fair game.  The 76ers, while holding  the chance for two top ten picks, also have enough picks in the second round of the NBA draft to trade back into the first round for “the right player”.  Who might that right player be in round one or two?

Let’s take a look at four prospects worth watching when the surging Wolverines take on the Ducks, who are coming off a close victory in the round of 32 against Rhode Island.
