But most of all, Dario Saric plays with the Eye of the Tiger. You see, Dario Saric is just tough. Rock tough. But his style of play does not catch the eye as suddenly taking over in a game. Not at all.

But by the end of the game, you notice that he’s scored a ton of points.
In fact, his 32 points against the Chicago Bulls marks just the second time in Philadelphia 76ers history where a pair of rookies broke the 30 point barrier in the same season . Joel Embiid had scored 33 points against the Brooklyn Nets earlier in the year.
Eye Defined
So what exactly is he ‘eye(s) of the tiger’. It refers to what the tiger’s prey last sees prior to being killed. It’s a reference to impending death of the prey. When a tiger goes in for the kill, it turns it’s ears around, showing the spot on the back of each ear, i.e. the ‘tiger’s eyes’. And so the saying goes, If you see ‘the eyes of the tiger’, you are already dead.
Dario Saric fills that huge chasm on this roster as a go to guy. In fact, McConnell and Covington have stepped up in that area too. For the past three seasons, the Philadelphia 76ers sought that fire. Now the roster is ablaze.
And at the end of the 2016-2017 season, the difference maker is Dario Saric.
