Toronto Raptors
The Toronto Raptors still need front court help. A young Jahlil Okafor is a cheap two-year answer for a solid reserve at a minimum. Now it’s not like the Toronto Raptors are in the business to offer charity to other NBA teams. What do they need?
And so, the team with 7-foot-0 centers who sit on the bench in post season needs to get a big onto the court who can compete with the best. Eventually, rookies can and do as the mature. But the Raptors are not in the business of developing talent. They are competing now for championships.

Had To Keep Pace, And Didn’t?
This is the Toronto Raptors team that knew they had to keep pace with the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Boston Celtics. They may have done so in the regular season. But come post season, teams turn it up a notch. They did trade for forward Serge Ibaka from the Orlando Magic for forward Terrance Ross and their 2017 first round draft pick. While Ibaka is delivering, the team has shorted themselves in the small forward position.
By trading the 25th pick and Jakob Poetl to the Philadelphia 76ers one of the 76ers second round picks, the Raptors get a solid sixth man to come off the bench at either center or power forward, they keep their options open in the 2017 NBA Draft, and they compete now. Or, they can opt out and watch their window close on them.
