10. player. 67. . SG. Kentucky. Malik Monk

Despite being the main scoring option for one of the best teams in the country, Malik Monk struggled mightily to end the season. In the conference tournament Georgia held Monk to just two points. He was also inefficient during March Madness, although he did make a couple of clutch shot down the stretch of games.

After Monk the talent level decreases massively, shooting guard isn’t necessarily a need for the Kings as they have ‘the next Steph Curry’, Buddy Hield. But given the position that they are currently in they should opt for the best player available strategy. As Monk doesn’t have a set position in the NBA he may start his career coming off the bench as he tries to find his role for the Kings.

As Monk is very athletic he is dangerous on the fast break. His vertical and quick release also allows him to get his shot off over almost anybody. Monk is at his best in the catch-and-shoot opportunities, but if that is not an option Monk is more than capable of creating his own shot or driving to the basket.
