In the early part of the season Jarrett Allen wasn’t living up to the hype and was slowly dropping down draft boards, some had him as a mid second rounder. But after a strong second half of the season Allen has found himself back up in the lottery discussions. In a class that lacks quality centers a team in the top10 could easily reach on Allen and it wouldn’t surprise me.

The Texas man could form a scary athletic tandem with emerging star, Thon Maker. The shot blocking ability of both players would make opposing players think twice before entering the paint. Offensively Maker can space the floor very well, ultimately creating space for Allen to work down low.

Drafting Allen may signal an end to Greg Monroe’s uneventful tenure in Milwaukee.
